Functional + beautiful: Vertical soap storage made of open-pored concrete
Natural soaps need air; otherwise, they dissolve much faster. Therefore, you should never store high-quality soaps in traditional shower shelves, on plates, or in closed soap dishes.
Our Block Holder 001 ensures optimal drying : through vertical storage, minimal contact with residual moisture, and no standing water. Incidentally, standing water not only promotes soap loss but also provides a breeding ground for bacteria. This soap holder prevents that – so simple, so logical, so beautiful.
The soap dish is handmade for us in a Hamburg pottery studio: Each piece is unique. Visible pores, individual textures – these are not flaws, but rather the character of genuine handcraft.
The holder intentionally has no drainage holes: soap doesn't belong under running water, but in a protected, dry place. Therefore, always take it with you out of the shower, especially if several people in the same household shower. The small amount of residual moisture on the soap evaporates quickly away from the water stream in our holder, and you can enjoy our soap for a long time.

Unser Block Holder 001 sorgt für optimale Trocknung: durch vertikale Lagerung, minimalen Kontakt mit Restfeuchtigkeit und ohne Stauwasser. Übrigens: Staunässe fördert nicht nur Seifenverlust, sondern ist auch ein Nährboden für Bakterien. Lässt sich mit diesem Seifenhalter verhindern – so einfach, so logisch, so schön. Der Seifenhalter wird in Handarbeit in einem Hamburger Töpferstudio für uns gefertigt: Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat. Sichtbare Poren, individuelle Strukturen – all das ist keine Makel, sondern Charakter echter Handarbeit. Der Halter hat bewusst keine Ablauflöcher: Seife gehört nicht unter fließendes Wasser, sondern an einen geschützten, trockenen Ort. Nimm sie daher immer mit dir aus der Dusche, besonders wenn mehrere Personen im gleichen Haushalt duschen. Die geringe Restfeuchte an der Seife verdunstet fern des Wasserstrahls in unserem Halter schnell und du hast lange Freude an unserer Seife.
